Now this is a car you don’t see every day….. a 1954 Chevrolet Corvette, vin # EX87, which obviously stands for experimental. As some of you may know, Chevrolet began mass production of the V8 engine in 1955 which they immediately threw into the Corvette and the 3100 model (aka ½ ton) pick-up truck.
This car is incredibly unique for a number of reasons, primarily the fact that it has no real vin number. The chassis for this car is from 1954, so the stock motor mounts and transmission were not going to be a direct mount up.
