It’s interesting to notice the changes in the industry over the last 17 years. In the beginning, people were shipping cars, then SUV’s, and now electric cars!
Going green means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. In the trucking business, we are poised to receive the good news of an alternative fuel source. Truckers around the country, ours included, can’t wait to end our reliance on highly outdated fossil fuels.
As many consumers seek out the green revolution, they realize the market to support these proactive environmental decisions has not yet matured. Many people in rural America would love to own a hybrid, if they knew there was a reliable shop nearby for service. It’s not just vehicle service that is lacking, its transportation and relocation of this vehicle once the consumer has made the decision to purchase.
At All American, we pride ourselves in leading the industry in green vehicle transportation. Some of the unique challenges related to shipping these vehicles include; fragile composite materials, decreased wheel base, decreased vehicle width, and the need to “Plug In.”
All American is constantly updating its fleet to reflect these current needs and consequently receives a large amount of business from the green community. Once the word spread that we could safely ship a vehicle that is nothing like good old Detroit iron, the phones exploded with calls. At this point we are shipping between four and six electric vehicles a week, brands of which include Tesla, Tango, the Chevy Volt, ZAP… and a few others.
Please visit us at Facebook.com/MoveAuto for more information and pictures about the 130mph TANGO electric car that we shipped last week!

What’s the width on that Tango?
Hi Mark!!
We are looking at a width of 39″ and a length of 101″…. Pretty amazing really! The TANGO manages a zero-60 in FOUR seconds…. pretty sweet!
